Bowmanville Chiropractor Offers Nearly Forty Years’ Experience

At Baarbé Chiropractic Centre, we’ve been helping patients of all ages feel and function better for almost four decades. Bowmanville chiropractor Dr. Johannes Baarbé specializes in instrument-assisted adjusting that does not involve any of the twisting, popping or cracking of traditional manual adjustments. Our gentle adjustments are comfortable for patients from one day old to one hundred years old and everyone in between.

Meet Our Experienced Chiropractor

Dr. Baarbé graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1984. Since then, he's committed himself to helping patients get the results they're looking for through our expert approach to care. Most of our patients have been referred by others who were thrilled with our care—many even travel hours to get care from Dr. Baarbé.

We see many patients over the age of fifty, who don't like (or can't tolerate) the twisting and cracking of manual adjustments, and appreciate Dr. Baarbe's gentle instrument adjustments. Whatever your age or condition, Dr. Baarbé has the experience and expertise to discover the underlying cause of the problem in most cases. He'll let you know his findings and how chiropractic care may be able to help. And if chiropractic is not the answer for your specific situation, he'll let you know.

Cozy and Compassionate Care

Our office is small by design. We want patients to feel comfortable and at home, and our office is cozy and welcoming to accomplish that. Our staff is friendly, will greet you by name and will do their best to answer your questions.

Dr. Baarbé takes the time to connect with you and listen to your story. He's genuinely interested and wants to understand what your health problems and goals are, and he's adept at looking for clues as to what is causing your situation.

One of the more common things we see is patients with core muscle issues. They come hobbling into the office and, when they sit, they can't get back up into a standing position. After Dr. Baarbé examines and adjusts them, they can stand up and leave walking upright.
